The wooden handle PKS Bronze 30cm (12in) hoe and fork, from the eponymous brand of the famous Austrian ecologist and naturalist, is a very robust and manoeuverable tool with its 17cm (7in) wide one-piece eye socket head made of copper alloy and its 30cm (12in) long beech wood handle! It is a highly versatile garden tool used for regular surface soil maintenance. Its head is equipped with a double-edged blade hoe, useful for weeding and digging loosened soil, and a two-pronged dovetail fork for breaking up large clumps of soil and aerating the soil without disturbing the different layers of the soil. 2-year warranty.
The hoe is one of the essential tools when gardening, and one of the first to acquire due to its versatility. This model, manufactured in Austria, consists of a 30cm (12in) beech handle. It is a double-headed and dual-purpose tool. The flat and triangular side of the head, with a double-edged blade called a hoe, allows for tilling the soil, which means weeding by scraping the surface of the soil, hoeing, which means piling up soil on the base of plants, or digging the soil. Meanwhile, the two-pronged fork-shaped side in a dovetail shape scrapes or loosens the surface soil by dislodging the roots of 'weeds' without harming the roots of well-established plants. In the vegetable garden, the hoe is used to dig a furrow in the soil to prepare for sowing, in line with a marked line using a cord. Precious for working the soil in small spaces, this hoe can maneuver around plants that are too close together for a wider hoe to pass through. The handle of this hoe is compostable, and the copper alloy head is recyclable.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
