This narrow flat wire brush with 9 flat, hooked and flexible tines is specially designed for picking up grass and dead leaves without scratching the surface of the soil or damaging the roots and stems of the plants around! It's a sturdy handheld tool with its head and socket made of stainless steel. It's easy to handle even in less accessible spaces, with its small hardwood handle that remains warm even in the middle of winter. Use it to keep your flower beds, flower beds, and pots clean! Like all its stainless steel tools approved by the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society), this brush is guaranteed for life by Burgon & Ball.

The small narrow flat wire broom Burgon & Ball is a handheld tool with 9 fan-shaped teeth and a short FSC-certified wooden handle, easy to handle in tight spaces and between established plantings. It is truly a pleasure to use, as the flat teeth pick up leaves and debris without piercing them, making it a very handy little tool. It is perfect for removing leaves and debris under bushes, so that slugs and snails have nowhere to hide. It is specially designed for maintaining small gardens, terraces, balconies, and small flowered areas in beds or containers. The stainless steel of this flower broom is extremely rust resistant, so it will remain shiny and beautiful for years to come. This broom, with its 9 teeth arranged in a flexible bar to prevent them from bending, has the advantage of not damaging soils, paved or tiled surfaces, or grass. It allows for light scarification of the lawn, which means removing moss that tends to grow in wetter and shaded areas of the lawn, or picking up small pruning debris.

The English have the privilege of being the reference in gardening (if not in cooking). Promesses de fleurs has chosen the English company Burgon & Ball for the quality of its materials and its nearly three-century-old steel manufacturing methods. The company has been working with steel in Sheffield since 1730, starting with a patent for solid steel sheep shears. The production of garden shears and equipment quickly surpassed that of sheep shears, but Burgon & Ball stainless steel tools are officially approved by the Royal Horticultural Society - probably the ultimate reward in the gardening industry.

The steel used for Burgon & Ball tools is alloyed with carbon to give it strength, and with chrome to prevent rust. It is a very precise balance that must be found between chrome and carbon, different for each part of the tool. Heat treatment allows for exactly the right hardness of steel for each tool. Too hard and the metal can break or chip, not hard enough and it will bend or lose its sharpness. The thickness of the steel used also depends on the tool. This flat wire broom requires a very low thickness of steel and a higher bending capacity than a knife. The thickness of the steel also affects the weight, so it is a balance that the company Burgon & Ball, with its nearly 300 years of experience, has validated to ensure that its tools are both effective and enjoyable to use.

Directions for use The narrow flat wire broom is a handheld tool equipped with only 9 teeth and a short handle, easy to handle in tight spaces and between established plantings for sweeping and raking. It is specially designed for maintaining small gardens, terraces, and balconies, as well as small flowered areas in beds and planters. It is primarily used for collecting fallen leaves in autumn, mowing the lawn, removing weeds from flower beds, as well as regularly raking the soil to loosen it on the surface and aerate it. This broom, with the rigidity of its flat and hooked teeth, allows for scarifying the lawn without removing the grass, meaning scratching the surface of the soil and dislodging moss that tends to develop in damp and shaded areas of the lawn, thus facilitating lawn regeneration. Prepare a large bag for green waste or a wheelbarrow to store and transport them. You can throw them on the compost pile, gather them at the base of certain frost-sensitive plants to protect them from the cold, or take them to the waste disposal site. To maintain the beautiful appearance of your tool, we recommend cleaning it with a stiff brush after each use and storing it away from moisture by hanging it using its sturdy leather cord.
