Very fast delivery of this order. Unfortunately, the fertilizer bag should have been double wrapped from the start, as it arrived at its destination punctured, probably by one of the rings from the same cardboard box. Not everything could be salvaged: about 800g out of the original 1000g... What do we do?

The 'Gardener's Tradition' Rose Fertiliser is a mineral fertiliser enriched with magnesia designed to meet the high nutritional needs of roses and other flowering bushes. It promotes the harmonious development of plants and ensures abundant and colourful flowering. Ready to use, it comes in the form of easy-to-spread granules. Packaged in a 2 kg mini-pack, this fertiliser is particularly suitable for small gardens and roses grown in containers on the terrace or balcony.

This fertiliser does not come from organic matter derived from living organisms but from inert mineral matter such as certain rocks. It contains nutrients that are easily and quickly assimilated by plant roots. Its formulation is as follows: NPK 11-10-17 + 3 MgO. This means that it is composed of:

  • 11% nitrogen (N): this element contributes to developing non-reproductive above-ground plant parts, especially leaves and stems.
  • 10% phosphorus (Ph strengthens plant resistance and contributes to root development.
  • 17% potassium (K): essential for good yield; it promotes flowering and fruit development.
  • 3% magnesia or magnesium oxide (MgO). This trace element promotes the assimilation of nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur. It also intensifies the colour of flowers and foliage and the taste quality of fruits and vegetables.

Uses: from February to September, for planting and monthly maintenance

Incorporate into the planting soil. For regular maintenance, spread the fertiliser, preferably in the evening,g so the granules absorb moisture overnight and quickly dissolve. Lightly water the following days to dissolve the product fully and allow it to penetrate the roots.

Dosage: planting: 25 to 50 g per rose depending on size - monthly maintenance (March and July): 50 g per m²

Plants need water, about twenty essential nutrients that they find in mineral form in the soil, carbon dioxide (CO2) present in the air, and solar energy necessary for photosynthesis. The essential elements, called macronutrients, are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). They must be present in the soil in significant quantities. The secondary elements, less predominant but essential, are calcium (Ca), sulfur (S), and magnesium (Mg). Finally, trace elements, necessary in tiny quantities, are represented by iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), copper (Cu), boron (B), zinc (Zn), chlorine (Cl), sodium (Na), cobalt (Co), vanadium (V), and silicon (Si). The role of fertiliser is to compensate for soil deficiencies and provide, through optimal dosage, the elements that promote plant growth, flowering and fruit production, or the development of roots, bulbs, and tubers.
