Description

The Nectarine tree (Prunus persica var. nucipersica) is a medium-sized, productive fruit tree that is suitable for small gardens.

From March, the bush is covered with beautiful pale pink, delicately scented blossom. From August onwards, the tree produces large-sized nectarines with smooth, red-orange skin. Its flesh is yellow, fragrant, and juicy.

Although hardy, the Nectarine tree thrives in warm, sunny, and sheltered locations, and is sensitive to spring frosts, with late frosts leading to the destruction of future fruits.

Like many fruit trees, the Nectarine tree appreciates light, rich, and deep soils, and does not tolerate excessive water or heavy and compact soils.

It is self-fertile and does not require the presence of a pollinator. Delivered as a high-quality half-standard tree, 2 metres (7 feet) high. It fruits from the first year.
