Description

At our place, Helictotrichon sempervirens is the ideal grass for the scree garden, rockery or well-exposed slope as it doesn't appreciate overly moist regions.

A reliable perennial, Blue Oat Grass forms an upright, then spreading clump. The evergreen leaves, quite stiff in appearance, are of a very soft colour, more blue than grey. The culms bearing the spikes are rather rigid and beige in colour.
