Lovely little pink flowers but the plant is quite solitary, I will need to add some companions to it.

Planting and care

Plant in well-drained soil, covering the top of the root ball by 3 cm (1in). They are not very demanding and can adapt to any type of soil. However, stagnant moisture in winter can be fatal. Asters are more or less susceptible to mildew. We recommend treating them preventively with a spray of Bordeaux mixture every 15 days from spring to autumn. In March, stake species that exceed 80 cm (32in) in height, or cut back their stems by one third to maintain the vigour and quality of the flowers. Mulch all asters every year in November after cutting them back. You can divide them in late autumn or early spring if they become too large.
