Planting and care

Epilobium angustifolium prefers moist soils and sunny or slightly shaded locations and dislikes excessive moisture in winter. It readily self-seeds and tends to colonise the garden. It is ideal for dressing up a neglected corner and you can give extra seedlings to the neighbours! Remove faded flowers if you wish to prevent self-seeding and extend the flowering period until October.
