Blue and White Galega hartlandii - Hartland Goat's Rue

 The Duo consists of 2 plants:

The Galega in this Duo are useful for their very rapid growth and beautiful vigour. In the space of 2-3 years, they form large bushy clumps with strong stems, not requiring staking. Their deciduous foliage consists of pinnate leaves of a beautiful light and fresh green. They bloom in large upright clusters of fragrant pea flowers. They are extremely hardy plants and very easy to grow in any good, moist garden soil, in the sun. You can use them to enhance and animate a border or flower bed, planted in the background. They need space so give them 50-60 cm so that they can flourish without encroaching on neighbouring plants.

They are perfectly suited to less maintained areas of the garden or to country gardens, especially since they readily self-seed. Easily create a rustic setting by combining this Duo of blue and white Galegas with 'Snowbank' False Aster, 'Old Court' Shasta Daisy, and 'September Charm' Japanese Anemone, for example. They can also be planted near a climbing Rose or Clematis to enhance the base. Their floral stems make beautiful, delicately scented country bouquets.
