Description

You will know that it is important not to confuse the perennial geraniums mentioned here with those that bloom on balconies and are actually pelargoniums - but it's always worth a reminder. Whatever your particular garden, needs or taste, there is certainly a geranium - or several geraniums - ready to charm you. In recent years many advances have been made, notably through cross-breeding between very robust and vigorous species and very floriferous species, but which were not particularly hardy. The result is robust plants with a spectacular flowering period.

In spring sturdy, downy, reddish stems emerge from its stump and spread themselves along the ground. The large green leaves are covered with a silvery down when they appear, giving a greyish impression to the foliage. The light pink flowers, delicately veined with carmine, succeed each other from June until the first frosts.
