difficult to judge the quality of a plant packed beak to beak with other plants. there is dirt everywhere, the leaves are crushed, the species of green plastic bottle box are also crushed. the whole thing smells of pesticides. the package was not posted on the indicated day. in the end, 160 euros lost (for now because we will not stop there) to avoid

Description

Newly cultivated, Heuchera 'Prince of Silver' does not go unnoticed thanks to its elegant contrasting foliage in silver and purple.

A vigorous perennial, this new heuchera flowers from May to July. At the end of spring, it bears numerous spikes of small cream-pink bells. Its evergreen foliage, similar to the 'Silver Scrolls' variety, stands out with a stronger contrast. Its very silver leaves are veined with purple-grey on the top and dark burgundy-red on the underside.

At maturity, Heuchera 'Prince of Silver' reaches a height of 35 cm (14 in) with a spread of 30-40 cm (12-16 in).

Heuchera is found in rockeries and shaded areas as well as in borders and large beds. It can also be grown in containers on terraces. The spikes are often used for fresh bouquets.

Planting and care

Prepare a planting hole measuring 20 cm x 20 cm x 20 cm (8 in x 8 in x 8 in). If your soil is heavy, mix some compost with the crumbled soil, partially fill the hole, and place your bucket (after removing the pot) so that the top of the plant's root ball is covered with 3 cm (1 in) of soil. Adding a base fertiliser (dried blood or crushed horn) will nourish your plant during its rooting period without the risk of burning. Firm the soil and water generously to eliminate air pockets. If the weather is dry, regular watering for a few weeks will encourage your plant's establishment. The woody stump tends to emerge from the ground, so mulch annually. Heucheras renew their foliage in late winter, and so we recommend cutting back the previous year's leaves in January or February.
