They struggled a bit during the dry weather, but everything is fine.

Description

Leucanthemum superbum 'Engelina' is a unique variety of Oxeye daisy that has double and ruffled flowers with very thin and curly ligules around its yellow heart. This perennial forms a compact clump that blooms all summer in moist soil. Very easy to grow, this plant will easily add a touch of madness to your flower beds and bouquets.

Leucanthemums belong to the Asteraceae family. 'Engelina' forms a clump of about 50 cm (20in) in height that spreads in width with a moderately fast growth. The lush foliage is semi-evergreen. The flowering takes place from July to October, in the form of large solitary heads 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3in) in diameter.  The crown of white ligules is beautifully cut and curly, like a ruffled pompom. The plant reaches its full maturity in five years.

In daisies, one does not find extravagant colours, but it is the structure of the flowers that stands out. Leucanthemum 'Engelina', perfect for making bouquets, will be perfect in flower beds or in meadows in a slightly wild corner. Accompany these flowers with that of cosmos, combine them with peonies, columbines, asters, blue lupins, campanulas or snapdragons, for example. Be creative with this flower, in the garden or in a vase in the house, to produce a delightful and unique display.
