Bucket with beautiful lots of foliage and a healthy root ball. Now we'll see in the summer, but I'm very optimistic about the recovery.

Description

Leucanthemum x superbum 'Real Neat' is a variety of large daisy with an unusual shape. The stems are sturdy and the flowers are unique. The channelled petals spread out towards their tips and are arranged in a double crown with a very structured graphic effect, surrounding a large heart of solid gold that becomes mustard-coloured over time. The flowering takes place throughout the summer in damp soil. It is a disease-resistant plant that is easy to grow, suitable for full sun or partial shade. The flowers last a long time in bouquets and in flower beds.

The genus Leucanthemum belongs to the Asteraceae family. 'Real Neat' is a horticultural hybrid obtained in England from Leucanthemum x superbum, the well-known large daisy. It is a variety that is particularly disease-resistant. It forms a very compact clump, wider than it is tall, measuring approximately 40 cm (16in) in height and spreading over 50 cm (20in), with a moderately fast growth rate. It is opulent in summer and completely disappears in winter. The flowering takes place from July to October, in the form of large solitary heads 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3in) in diameter, with beautifully channelled white ligules, fused at the base and opening towards their tips. The flower stems are particularly sturdy and perfect for cutting. The leaves are dark green, simple and alternate with a regularly dentate edge. The plant reaches full maturity in five years.

This summer daisy, perfect for making bouquets, will be ideal in flower beds or in a meadow under fruit trees or at the back of the garden. Pair its ruffled flowering with that of cosmos, mix it with peonies, blue lupins, or bellflowers. The rustic appearance of this new variety will reminds you of your grandmothers' garden while adding a contemporary touch with its unusual flowers.
