Phlox paniculata Septemberglut

Plant in full sun in cooler regions. In hot climates, plant in partial shade. Phlox are more comfortable in a cool climate in summer, especially at night. Choose deeply loosened, rich, well-drained soil. Stake the stems, if necessary, as the stems can bend under the weight of the leaves. Prune the flowers when they fade, in order to prolong the flowering. Phlox is susceptible to powdery mildew; preventive measures should be taken to maintain regular watering in summer, and monitor its possible appearance.
