Perennial arrived in good health. After heavy and recurrent rains, one of the three young plants started to turn yellow despite a well-draining substrate. I tried to save the plant and although it doesn't like being moved, I put it in a pot sheltered from the rain. It seems to be recovering. We still have to wait a little longer for the flowering.

Description

Platycodon grandiflorus 'Fuji White' is a lovely perennial, with large bell-shaped flowers, pure white in colour, similar to campanulas.

Originally from Japan, this Japanese bellflower has thick and fleshy roots, almost tuberous, forming robust and bushy clumps.

In early summer, Platycodon 'Fuji White' bears large, pure white bell-shaped flowers on short stems, 50-60cm (20-24in) in height.

Hardy and easy to grow, Platycodon loves sun or partial shade, well-draining, rich, and light soils. Plant it at the edge of a border or in the background, alongside roses, poppies, phlox, or Gypsophila.
