Description

Tradescantia x andersoniana Concord Grape is a perennial with purple flowers bearing 3 very open petals. It blooms all summer in moist soil. The flowers are short-lived but renew continuously.

The narrow, 25 cm (10in) long leaves are pointed at the tip.

Tradescantia andersoniana looks stunning when combined with blue perennials in a semi-shaded setting. It makes a good ground cover. You can also grow it in a pot or create beautiful hanging baskets.
