Care

Pruning instructions Typha latifolia Variegata requires very little maintenance. Before the vegetation starts to grow again, around March, prune back the dry leaves and clean up the clump by removing some rhizomes to contain its growth, if necessary. Towards the end of September-October, to prevent seeds from spreading, prune back the dry inflorescences.
