This ergonomic professional pruner with rotating handle, Size M Head no.2 Bahco PXR-M2 has been highly recommended by professional gardeners for many years and is designed to provide maximum comfort to the user, without compromising performance or longevity. This model for right-handed users perfectly fits a medium-sized hand. Lightweight, it features a rotating handle, an inclined cutting head, and profiled handles coated with elastomer for added comfort. Equipped with cross-cutting blades with a hollow lower face to prevent clogging, and benefiting from an optimal and durable sharpening process, this pruner is perfectly suited for pruning green and living wood up to 2cm (1in) in diameter. For this model, spare parts are available, and the cutting head is interchangeable. Different sizes of heads are available for right-handed or left-handed users, allowing you to choose the appropriate cutting capacity for the task at hand.
The hand pruner is an essential tool that every gardener should have, whether they need to maintain a small balcony, a terrace, a small city garden, a large country garden, or an orchard. The pruner with cross-cutting blades is the most common type. It consists of two curved movable blades that slide against each other when the handles of the tool are squeezed together. It works like a pair of scissors. Unlike the anvil pruner, it provides a clean and precise cut that does not crush the cut stems. Therefore, it is the most suitable pruner for cutting green wood on living plants, as it prevents the formation of wounds that can lead to the proliferation of diseases. It allows for very clean cuts on stems and branches measuring up to 2cm (1in) in diameter.
The Bahco PXR-M2 ergonomic professional pruner was developed according to the ERGO concept. The upper handle fits the shape of the thumb, and its composite material coating is very comfortable. The movable lower handle follows the movement of the hand and reduces fatigue in the wrist, especially during long cutting tasks with repetitive motions. The cutting head is inclined both horizontally (to the left for right-handed users) and vertically (downwards) to compensate for the flexion of the wrist and allow the hand to remain in a neutral position. Suitable for intensive use, this model minimizes the occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders and reduces the risk of developing carpal tunnel syndrome.
This versatile Bahco PXR-M2 professional pruner can be used to trim all types of plants in the garden: trees and bushes, fruit trees, conifers, acidophilous plants, plants from mild climates, hedge plants, climbing plants, roses, small fruits and vines, bamboo, and even perennial plants.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
