Description

The Isalia rose is part of the Decorosier range, roses developed to ensure exceptional flowering with minimal effort and care.  Isalia, the latest addition to the range, is a coral orange colour and the centre of each rose whitens in the sun. A beautiful fresh and sparkling touch throughout the summer season.

The Decorosier roses are shrub roses with a spreading habit, they are vigorous and hardy and adapt to any type of soil. They are ADR certified, which means they are extremely disease resistant. All these qualities will make your task easier. They are perfect for planting in flower beds, borders, containers, or even slopes.

ADR is the label of the German Rose Breeders Federation. This distinction is only given to roses that have successfully passed multiple tests regarding flowering, hardiness, and disease resistance without any pesticide in 10 different locations.

Planting and care

The Decorosier Isalia Rose is undemanding in terms of soil quality and sunlight, however, keep in mind that it will bloom earlier and more abundantly in the sun than in the shade. To plant your rose, work the soil by crumbling it well and place an amendment, such as bonemeal, at the bottom of the planting hole. Prune the roots of your rose before planting (dip them in a muddy mixture of water and soil). Water thoroughly after planting to eliminate air pockets. You can lightly mound soil around the rose to hide the graft point from the sun's rays. Water regularly for a few weeks to aid in root development. Decorosier roses do not require pruning,  but to control their size, trim them to half their size in spring if necessary. Removing faded blooms will stimulate the growth of new buds throughout the summer.
