Thanks to the individuals (Anne Flore for order preparation and ? from the shipping department), the rose bush received is healthy. Planted near the "Zepeti" variety, I am now patiently waiting for it to take root... (or not?).

Description

The Decorosier 'Kadora' rosebush bears semi-double flowers of 4 to 6 cm (2in) in size, grouped in bouquets of about ten flowers.

The Decorosier are shrubby rosebushes with a spreading habit. They can be used in many ways: as a border for a short grass meadow, in flowerbeds, on slopes or in planters. They can be planted in any type of soil, in full sun or in partial shade. They offer long exceptional flowering periods on healthy, shiny green, semi-evergreen foliage.

Naturally resistant to diseases, they do not require any treatment.

The ADR is the label of the German federation of rose growers. The ADR designation is only granted to varieties that have passed the strictest tests in the world. The plants are tested simultaneously at 10 different locations, in various soil and climate conditions, for several years. The tests focus on hardiness, perennial nature and flowering, without using any pesticides.

Planting and care

How to plant roses in soil pockets? Prepare your soil in a 30 cm (12in) x 30 cm (12in) area by crumbling the soil and adding an amendment such as dried blood or dehydrated horn at the bottom of the planting hole. Prepare a thick mud mixture with water and soil. Dip your plant in the mud to coat the roots and prevent any air bubbles (this is called "dressing"). Position your plant in the hole, spreading out the roots and ensuring that the graft point is just above the soil level. Fill in with soil and gently tamp down as you go. Prune the branches to 15/20 cm (6/8in) to encourage growth. Create a basin around the base of the roses and water abundantly with a fine mist to eliminate air pockets and help the soil adhere to the roots. In very cold regions, it may be useful to mulch with leaves or compost up to 20 cm (8in) around the base of your plants. Decorosier roses do not require pruning. However, it is possible to prune them to half their size in the spring. In the summer, removing faded flowers will stimulate the growth of new flowers. Naturally resistant to diseases, they do not require fungicidal treatments.

Roses are often stained or unsightly at the end of summer, but this is not a problem for their development. These stains are not harmful to the rose; it is a natural phenomenon.
