Thanks to Anne-Flore (order preparation and quality control) and Ivan (shipping), the rose bush was received with its original labels (GUILLOT). Now, all that remains is to wait for spring to see it take root. This comes from a rose enthusiast who has successfully planted over 250 different varieties in their garden.

The Rosier Generosa 'Laurent Cabrol' is a modern rose that immediately captivates rose enthusiasts with the brilliance and habit of its large double flowers, which open in quarters in the style of old or English roses. Fragrant and easy to grow, this compact and bushy shrub is generous like all Generosa roses and blooms abundantly from May until the first frosts. It looks stunning in borders or as a standalone plant and is equally appreciated in the garden or bouquets!
The Generosa roses are modern (even ultra-modern) with the appearance of old roses. They combine the charm of antique roses with the resilience, surprising colours, and long flowering period of modern roses.
The 'Laurent Cabrol®'Rose 'Malaucab' is a compact bush rose with a somewhat upright habit. At maturity, it will not exceed 80 cm (32in) in height and 70 cm (28in) in width. The flowering begins in May and continues until the arrival of frost. The plant produces countless buds of deep pink colour on its red, then tender green branches, which open into slightly informal cups. The flowers are double, 9 cm (4in) wide, with 17 to 25 crumpled petals tightly packed in quarters. They are a true, vibrant pink, warmer, more apricot in the centre, and lighter on the edges. They release a  pronounced fragrance with fruity notes of raspberry and banana. The foliage is healthy and deciduous, with a semi-satin dark green colour, and requires little maintenance. This shrub is robust and very hardy.
The 'Laurent Cabrol' rose stands out with the habit and brilliance of its large, very pink roses, the fragrance of its flowers, and its ease of cultivation. It deserves to be planted in large borders or monochrome flower beds or, conversely, mixed with other varieties of a deeper pink like the old rose 'Mme Isaac Péreire' and white pink like 'Martine Guillot', if you have enough space. Some perennial plants and grasses are ideal for enhancing its beauty and accompanying it late in the season. For example, combine it with Geranium psilostemon, shrubby salvias, magenta lychnis, Panic, Miscanthus 'Ghana', or Nepeta 'Walker's Low'. It will also look good as a standalone plant surrounded by grey foliage. Its flowers make elegant, nostalgic, and fragrant bouquets, mixed double gypsophila and some berries from shrubby St. John's wort and symphorines.

Botanical data
Rose bushes need sunlight for 4-5 hours every day, but it's best to protect them from the strong sun and wind. They grow best in loose, permeable soil that is rich in humus. The soil should be well-cultivated and rich enough, but they can also grow in any type of soil.Â
If you're planting them in a pot, loosen the soil to a depth of 10 inches and add a base amendment like blood, fish and bone at the bottom of the planting hole. Position the plant and cover the top of the root ball with 1 inch of soil. Fill in the hole, press down the soil, and water generously to eliminate air pockets. Water regularly during dry weather for a few weeks to help the roots develop. Use special rose fertilisers to promote flowering.
Roses may develop unsightly spots at the end of summer, but this is a natural occurrence and doesn't harm the rose's growth.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
