Deliciously scented and velvety to the touch, a true delight, these roses in a bouquet." Analyse et correction : "Deliciously" est utilisé pour renforcer l'idée de plaisir et d'agrément liée à l'odorat. "Velvety" est le terme approprié pour traduire "velouté", car il décrit la texture douce et lisse des roses. La phrase est correcte du point de vue grammatical et structurel. Il n'y a pas de fautes d'orthographe ou de maladresses de langage. Le ton du texte traduit reste fidèle à l'original.

Description

The Generosa Rose Bush 'Michel Jonasz' is a modern and fragrant rose bush with an exceptional colour, an intense and enchanting fuchsia pink, capable of enhancing an entire garden section. Round and bushy, this brand-new rose bush from Guillot displays double cup-shaped flowers with centrally arranged petals spiralled in an elegant manner, providing a unique aesthetic. A whirlwind saturated with pink, capturing the wonderful fragrance of old roses. This bush is adorned with beautiful dark green matte foliage, a perfect backdrop for its well-perpetual flowering late into the season.

The Generosa roses are modern (even ultra-modern) with the appearance of old roses. They combine the charm of yesteryear's roses with the robustness, surprising colours, and long flowering of modern roses. 'Michel Jonasz' is a bushy rose bush with a rounded habit. At maturity, it will reach approximately 1m (3ft) in all directions. Flowering begins in May and only stops with the arrival of frost. The plant produces countless red buds, opening into wide 6cm (2in) cups. The petals are neatly spiralled at the centre. Their fuchsia-pink colour does not fade in the sun. They emit a pleasant fragrance. The foliage is abundant, healthy, deciduous, with a dark green matte colour, and requires little maintenance. This bush is very hardy.

The 'Michel Jonasz' rose is an accomplished variety, but also delicate and somewhat melancholic, endowed with many qualities: fragrance, floribundity, shape of the flowers, and colour. It should be planted in a large border or a monochrome flower bed if you have enough space. Some perennial plants and grasses are ideal for enhancing its beauty and accompanying it late into the season. Pair it with Geranium psilostemon, shrubby salvias, magenta or white lychnis, Panicum, Miscanthus 'Ghana', or Nepeta 'Walker's Low'. It will also look good as a solitary plant surrounded by grey foliage. Its flowers make rhythmic bouquets surrounded by dark green foliage.

Planting and care

Rose bushes need sunlight for 4-5 hours every day, but it's best to protect them from the strong sun and wind. They grow best in loose, permeable soil that is rich in humus. The soil should be well-cultivated and rich enough, but they can also grow in any type of soil.

If you're planting them in a pot, loosen the soil to a depth of 10 inches and add a base amendment like blood, fish and bone at the bottom of the planting hole. Position the plant and cover the top of the root ball with 1 inch of soil. Fill in the hole, press down the soil, and water generously to eliminate air pockets. Water regularly during dry weather for a few weeks to help the roots develop. Use special rose fertilisers to promote flowering.

Roses may develop unsightly spots at the end of summer, but this is a natural occurrence and doesn't harm the rose's growth.
