Description
The Eve de Rothschild® 'Lapdila' rose, bred by Laperrière in 2023, is a bush rose with large flowers appreciated for its abundant flowering and strong fragrance. Its round, pinkish-white roses bring a touch of refined elegance to the garden and bouquets. With vigorous growth, this variety is ideal for creating romantic borders and beds. An excellent choice for lovers of fragrant roses.
The Eve de Rothschild® rose belongs to the hybrid tea group, a category of roses prized for their elegant large flowers, often solitary or in small clusters, carried on long stems. This rose, with a bushy habit and vigorous growth, reaches a height of 90 cm to 1 m. Its flowering is particularly generous and perpetual, spreading from June to October. The round flowers, measuring approximately 12 cm in diameter, consist of nearly 45 petals. Their pinkish-white hue, combined with a strong fragrance with fruity notes, makes them particularly attractive.
The foliage of the Eve de Rothschild rose is dense, with a satin dark green colour, forming an elegant contrast with the delicacy of its flowers. These are beautiful healthy leaves that contribute to the vigorous appearance of the plant. It is deciduous foliage that falls in autumn.
Eve de Rothschild® is perfect in a romantic border, and its pastel, fragrant roses are sublime in a vase. It pairs perfectly with perennials such as lavenders, catmints, or masterworts. Its combination with Ceratostigma willmottianum (with small blue flowers) and the fuchsia-pink shrubby sage 'Cerro Potosi' is particularly successful.

Planting and care
To plant your 'Eve de Rothschild' rose, work the soil to a depth of 25 cm by crumbling the earth well and placing a base dressing such as dried blood or dehydrated horn at the bottom of the planting hole, remove your plant from its pot and position covering the top of the root ball with 3 cm of soil, refill and water generously to eliminate air pockets. In dry weather, water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate root establishment. Also, remember to provide your rose with special rose fertiliser that stimulates flowering.
Roses are often spotted or unsightly at the end of summer, but this is not a problem for their development. These spots are not harmful to the rose; it is a natural phenomenon.
