Rosa 'Jeanne Coeur' (Oranobri)
Thanks to Jenny for the order preparation and Aline from the shipping department, the bare-root rose bush I received looks healthy. Planted near the 'Belle Romantica' variety, I am now patiently waiting for it to take root...(or not, like the one from November 2021?)." Analysis of the translation: - The translation accurately conveys the meaning and context of the original text. - The specific terms "specific research area", "naked", "root", and "variety" have been correctly replaced with their corresponding English terms. - No spelling or grammar errors are present. - The tone and style of the translation match the original text.

The Rose Jeanne Coeur® is a modern hybrid tea rose with generous and pleasantly scented flowers. They emerge from primrose yellow buds and open into large milky-white turbinate flowers with a lemon heart that becomes pure white, creating a palette of fresh colours on the plant. They bloom from late spring until frost on a vigorous bush adorned with glossy green foliage that is resistant to diseases. Simply superb in flower beds, borders, and bouquets.
Â
'Jeanne Coeur' (Oranobri) is a recently obtained bush rose with large flowers bred by Orard. It is a bushy and upright shrub that reaches 90cm (35in) to 1m (3ft) in height with a spread of 60cm (24in) at maturity, with rapid growth. It produces sturdy, somewhat stiff, thorny branches that bear very elegant and robust foliage, glossy green, and less susceptible to diseases. Throughout the summer, if faded flowers are removed, the plant continuously produces large turbinate flowers measuring over 10cm (4in) in diameter, composed of 40 to 50 petals. They are solitary or grouped in small bouquets and borne at the tips of long shoots from the current year or emerging on 2-year-old stems. Their fragrance is intense, with a strongly lemony note. The deciduous foliage falls in autumn and reappears in spring.
Â
This Rose 'Jeanne Coeur' with its large white roses is ideal as a solitary plant in a well-maintained small garden. It is also perfect for use in large monochromatic borders, as its color is self-sufficient. It can also be paired with yellow, white, or salmon-coloured roses. To accompany it, consider, for example, white or mauve Phlox paniculata, red Penstemons, daisies, as well as the dark foliage of certain Physocarpus ('Burgundy Candy'), or the feathery foliage of bronze fennel. Its cut flowers, fragrant and long-lasting, are naturally perfect for bouquets.

Botanical data
Plant your 'Jeanne Coeur' Rose Bush in a sunny or lightly shaded location. Modern roses are tolerant but do not appreciate excessive limestone. They will adapt to any garden as long as the soil is well worked, not too heavy, and rich enough. To install your rose bush, work the soil by crumbling it and place an amendment, such as dried blood or dehydrated horn, at the bottom of the planting hole. Water generously after planting to remove any air pockets. Water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate rooting.
Pruning modern perpetual roses is essential for flowering. It is done in three steps:
1. Maintenance pruning: regularly shorten the flowering branches during the season. To promote the reblooming of perpetual roses, remove faded flowers along with their stems and 2 or 3 leaves.
2. Preparatory autumn pruning: light pruning that anticipates the true spring pruning. It is not recommended in regions with cold winters to avoid weakening the bush.
3. Spring pruning: in February-March, when the buds have become shoots 2 to 3cm (1in) long, trim the young strong branches by a quarter of their length.
Pruning always aims to open up the center of the bush and remove dead wood, diseased branches, and weak shoots. The most vigorous ones, usually 3 to 6 well-positioned branches, should be kept to maintain a beautiful habit. Always prune at a slant, half a centimetre or 1 centimetre (0.3 inches) above an outward-facing bud.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
