Description

The Turfline Universal Lawn is a blend of professional-grade grasses that benefits from advanced research to meet the most demanding climatic challenges. It allows for the quick creation and durable establishment of a dense and hardy short grass meadow, even in shaded and high-traffic areas, with minimal maintenance required. This formula creates a dense tapetum that remains green in winter, as well as in summer, provided the soil does not dry out too much. Sow in spring or early autumn, by broadcasting. 1 kg covers up to 30 m², up to 35 m² for overseeding.

Composition:

  • 30% tetraploid ryegrass Quick Action®
  • 30% perennial ryegrass
  • 40% creeping red fescue

The tetraploid ryegrass Quick Action® is a grass that establishes quickly in all seasons, requires little maintenance, shows exceptional tolerance to various stresses, and resists well to trampling.

In our hottest and driest regions, it is almost impossible to maintain a short grass meadow that stays green in summer without watering. Without watering, it will often take on a characteristic "doormat" appearance. However, it will green up again as soon as the rains return.

Planting and care

Sowing:

Sow directly in place, in March-April (sowing in September-October in hot and dry climate), in well-prepared soil, free from weeds, refined and raked. Sow broadcast on the surface of the soil then lightly rake to cover the seeds. Optionally, roll to ensure the seeds adhere well to the soil. Water regularly with a fine spray to keep the soil slightly moist until germination if it does not rain.

Dosage:

  • 1 box of 1 kg for 30 m²
  • 1 box of 1 kg for 35 m² for overseeding.
