Description

Zenobia pulverulenta 'Blue Sky' is an evergreen bush from the same family as heathers: ERICACEAE.

It blooms from June to July and is adorned with white and fragrant bell-shaped flowers. Its leaves, which are evergreen and leathery, are tender green on the top and pale blue on the underside. It reaches a height of 1.50m (4ft 11in) and a width of 1m (3ft 4in).

A young plant for acidic, rich, moist, and humus-rich soil, Zenobia 'Blue Sky' thrives in shade and partial shade. Plant it in a pot or in a shaded bed, protected from cold winds, alongside Japanese maple, Pieris, Andromeda, and azaleas.

Zenobia pulverulenta 'Blue Sky' thrives in semi-shaded positions, sheltered from East winds. Plant it in a cool but well-drained, light, humus-bearing, fertile and acidic soil.
