I used to love this site, but now I'm very disappointed. The delivery times are extremely long, which makes it pointless. I received this cotinus that I paid a decent price for, thinking it was already a good size. However, it's a rip-off because it barely measures 80 cm – it was clearly pruned to fit into a smaller box!

Description
Cotinus coggygria Golden Spirit is nicknamed Smokebush because of its magnificent coppery orange plumes. This variety is characterized by deciduous, golden-yellow foliage that provides a beautiful brightness in garden beds.
Cotinus coggygria Golden Spirit is a bushy, medium-sized shrub that reaches a height of 3 to 4 m (9 ft 10 in to 13 ft 1 in) at maturity. Its deciduous, golden-yellow leaves appear as early as April and lighten in summer. They measure 6-8 cm (2.4-3.1 in) in diameter and are oval.
In late spring, the shrub is covered with cream flowers, which then produce interesting fruits. In summer, the coppery orange fruits form graceful and very light plumes. When autumn arrives, the shrub adorns itself with warm-toned foliage, ranging from red-orange to copper.
It is easy to grow in well-draining, poor, and light soils. Once established, it tolerates heat but does not tolerate excessive moisture in winter, especially in heavy soils.
Cultivate Cotinus Golden Spirit as a hedge or in rockeries, and associate it with catmints, lamb's ears, lavenders, and bee balms.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
