Hello, Did you receive my package today, 20/07/23? No complaints about the transport and delivery, the driver was very friendly. However, I was greatly disappointed to see all this plastic... It's a shame for the planet, especially when it comes to young plants. Second disappointment when unpacking the plant... It doesn't look nice at all, it has no structure, naked branches that seem dead... For a first order, I am really, really disappointed... It's a shame that we couldn't include photos... Nevertheless, to stay optimistic, the plant is in its place since its arrival, with 1/3 of my compost and 2/3 of peat soil. Now let's keep our fingers crossed that it will regain some semblance of life.

Description

The Limelight paniculata hydrangea displays magnificent inflorescences, initially green and then white, measuring over 20cm (7.9in) in length on a bush that reaches nearly 2m (6.6ft) in height. When exposed to sunlight, it takes on a rosy hue in autumn. Fresh and very elegant, it has its place in natural gardens or in a white garden.

Paniculata hydrangeas are shrubby hydrangeas with elongated inflorescences. They are drought-resistant and can easily thrive in non-acidic soil. They bloom generously from July until the first frost (temperate climate).

Planting and care

This hydrangea requires planting in a humus-bearing, neutral to acidic soil. Plant it in deeply worked soil. A good base fertilizer (fish blood and bone) will promote the establishment of your plant and nourish it without the risk of burning. If your soil tends to be dry, mix our water retainer, Stockosorb, with the soil when filling the planting hole and provide a watering basin on the surface. At the end of summer, we advise you not to cut the dry umbels, as they will protect the terminal shoots of the branches in winter. If you want to achieve large inflorescences, we recommend pruning it every year in March. If you don't prune it, the inflorescences will remain numerous but smaller.
