Yellow flowering Magnolia

Our range of Magnolias with yellow flowers. These shrubs are surprising with their flowering in yellow tones - a quite unusual colour for European gardeners, who are more familiar with pink or white magnolias. Resulting from clever hybridisation, yellow magnolias sweep through the whole range of yellow tones, often accompanied by fragrance: see the Magnolia Daphne with its intensely fragrant yellow stars in April-May, the hybrid Yellow Lantern with its pale yellow tulips with a hint of lemon scent, and the Magnolia brooklynensis Yellow Bird with its creamy yellow flowers appearing in early May and sometimes again in summer. Descended from the Star Magnolia, 'Gold Star' is unforgettable after winter, blooming from a young age with subtly scented pale yellow stars. The cultivar 'Elisabeth', the first 'yellow' introduced to the market, produces large cup-shaped flowers of creamy yellow. It is a compact and very hardy bush, ideal for a small garden. As for evergreens, we have Michelia 'Fair Lime' of very exotic appearance, with tough and evergreen foliage of a very dark green. Its flowering, between April and May, consists of small creamy yellow flowers that emit a fruity fragrance. There are yellow-flowered magnolias of all sizes, suitable for every garden, as well as container cultivation.
