Our White Flowering Shrub Sages. They can be found among the species of the S. grahamii, greigii type or even microphylla, perennial plants with woody stems of Mexican origin that form small bushes ranging from 50cm (20in) to 80cm (32in) in all directions, extremely floriferous between May-June and October-November. White, the colour of light par excellence, is not very common in these plants, which makes it precious. It can be found in varieties such as Salvia greggii 'Alba' in pure white, 'Mirage Cream' in a creamier white, or in Salvia microphylla 'Glacier' in a sparkling white. This neutral colour easily pairs with all other colours, vibrant or pastel. Shrub sages also have a pleasantly aromatic green foliage, they are water-efficient, not demanding in terms of soil, and require little maintenance except for a light pruning in spring. More or less hardy depending on the varieties, these small bushes can be easily grown in pots, to be stored indoors during harsh frosts.
