Planting and care

The Viburnum sargentii 'Onondaga' can be grown in full sun or partial shade. Plant from November to May, when frost-free, in any type of soil without too much chalk and not too dry, preferably moist and humus-bearing. This bush is easy to care for and requires little maintenance. The viburnum is often attacked by aphids without much damage. After flowering, you can prune lightly and remove branches that compromise the symmetry of the plant to keep its rounded habit. The Viburnum will tolerate severe pruning.
