Natural and decorative, rectangular slate label measuring 24 cm long and 3 cm wide, which can be inserted directly in the ground or the moss of floral arrangements thanks to the slanted end. It is an elegant and very useful accessory, which you can use to write the name of the plants or a message. Write on it with a chalk pen or white paint.

This long rectangular plant label is made of natural and authentic slate, one side of which has been bevelled to allow it to be directly inserted into the ground at the base of plants, or into the moss of floral compositions. It is decorative and very useful for recording the name of each plant in the garden, greenhouse, terrace or vegetable garden, while adding a touch of elegance.

Seed packets, as well as printed ribbons and labels that are provided when purchasing plants, often deteriorate quickly under the combined action of sun and rain, with the names of the plants becoming quickly illegible. On the other hand, these La Cordeline labels, made of natural slate, withstand heat and weather well. They can therefore be reused many times. They measure 24 cm long by 3 cm wide and come in the form of a thin polished plaque, more or less smooth and more or less coloured from grey to black, randomly traversed by lighter veins and spots. The name of the plant or any information and message can be written on it using simple chalk, an alcohol-erasable chalk pen, or white paint, before installation. Then push the slanted end directly into the soil at the base of the plants. Natural slate is an ecological and environmentally friendly material, its dust, chips, and gravel are also used in soil amendments.

Garden labels are very useful accessories that can also be elegant or charming. In ornamental gardens, some perennials or bulbs disappear underground for a good part of the year, and risk being destroyed under an unfortunate blow of a spade or pickaxe if they have not been marked. The collector of irises or grasses will appreciate remembering the names of the pretty varieties he has planted. The enthusiast of rare plants for which there is no common name can use the label to jog his memory and give the Latin name of his latest acquisition to guests. Whether planted in flower beds, at the base of a potted plant, in a flower box, or in a floral composition, the slate label always has an effect. Finally, naming a plant is an excellent way to awaken children's interest in nature, in all its diversity.
