Garden Line

This garden line is made with 100% natural materials. Use it to align sowings and plantings, and even define pathways. It is ideal for creating a perfectly straight vegetable garden, a hedge, or a row of small trees.

This line is composed of two untreated and uncoloured stakes made of ash wood, which is known for its hardness. It has a 10m (33ft) natural hemp twine with a 4mm diameter. Hemp fibre has been used for centuries, especially in rope making. It has a natural odour that fades over time, a very light grey-brown colour, and a soft and pleasant touch. Sensitive to weather conditions, it naturally degrades over time when used outdoors, without leaving any residue in the environment. It is compostable and environmentally friendly. It should also be noted that its length can vary depending on the humidity in the air, contracting in humid weather and expanding in dry weather. It is highly resistant to heat, breakage, and abrasion. Hemp twine is difficult to ignite. This pliable material is easy to tie knots with. Its knots do not slip. Thread it through the holes at the top of the wooden stakes and secure it, then stretch it between the two stakes, at a low height, on well-prepared soil. The line is used to mark the furrow where the sowings will be made, or the planting holes for flowers and bushes.
