This La Cordeline string, 100% biodegradable and suitable for food contact, is particularly suitable for use in the vegetable garden. Flexible, soft but resistant, made of rayon and cotton, it allows you to tie the fragile stems of tomato plants, eggplants and other vegetables without harming them. Once the season is over, it will join the compost pile along with the plants damaged by the cold, which represents a time saving for the gardener. This string is composed of 45% rayon and 55% cotton, two plant-based fibere that naturally degrade in the environment under the action of bacteria and fungi in the soil. Rayon, also known as artificial silk, is made from viscose thread and has qualities comparable to cotton for its absorbency. The hook allows the coil to be hung on any wall support, hook or simple nail. This string can be cut with a pair of scissors or a cutter. Compostable, it naturally degrades without leaving any residue in the environment.
