Oak reel with cutter and Natural Jute Twine

This oak reel with natural jute ball, Color Natural by La Cordeline is a decorative and practical accessory. The oak bobbin holder is equipped with a steel blade that allows you to cut the string while keeping your hands free, for tying, training or staking plants, or for creative hobbies for example. Jute is a material that comes directly from the rigid and fibrous stems of a bush called white jute, in Latin Corchorus capsularis. It is a plant in the mallow family, related to our hibiscus, native to the hot and humid regions of India. This La Cordeline string is made from raw, untreated, simply woven, and uncolored fiber. Durable, the jute string can be reused several times before starting to degrade. The appearance of this string is rustic, slightly fluffy on the surface, while retaining flexibility. Compostable, jute naturally decomposes without leaving any residue in the environment.

The jute string on the reel will always be within reach, in the kitchen or in the garden shed. It is used in the vegetable garden to stake tomatoes, tall pole beans, cucumbers, and raspberries, to align a row of vegetables, in the ornamental garden to tie up a unruly vine, or in the orchard to support a branch heavy with fruits, as it holds firmly without harming the most fragile stems.
