Reusable sowing tray 77 cells (volume 0.032 litres)
Reusable sowing tray 77 cells (volume 0.032 litres)
Very satisfied. I was a bit worried about the durability of the trays, but they are thicker than what I had seen in garden centres. I hope I can make them last for more than 5 years as advertised. Ordered 54 and 77-hole trays. It's perfect. Saves a lot of potting soil, as we only transplant healthy seedlings. Saves seeds, no need to do pocket sowing and then thinning out. Saves space. Very easy to remove the root ball. In short, I highly recommend it. My next purchase will be a 104 or even 150-hole tray.

This reusable 77-hole seedling tray (volume 0.032 litres) from Soparco suits amateur and professional gardeners. Made of sturdy black plastic, it has 77 small growing cells in which it will be easy to sow flowers and vegetables and store them in a bright and heated place that promotes germination. Once the seedlings have developed enough, gently remove them from their cell and transplant them into pots or garden soil. You can reuse this seedling tray for at least five years with proper maintenance. Store it away from light after use.
The growing tray measures 50 cm (20in) long by 33 cm (13in) wide and 4.7 cm (2in) high. It is made of black, matte plastic material, rigid enough to be easily handled. It features 77 round-based growing cells with a drainage hole, measuring 4.7 cm (2in) in height, 3.4 cm (1in) in diameter at the top, and 2.80 cm (0 and 1in) in diameter at the base, all in one piece. This makes it easy to fill the cells with potting soil, set up, sow, handle, care for, water, and transplant. Watering can be done with a water sprayer or through capillary action, for example, by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten under the seedling tray. This way, the plant will be protected from excessive watering and benefit from a regular water supply with a consistently moist substrate.
This model is available in different sizes. From the 15-hole tray with 8cm (3in) cells to the 260-hole tray with 2.2cm (1in) cells to meet every gardener's needs. You will also find a 2cm (1in) high saucer that fits all Soparco reusable seedling trays, allowing for long-lasting moisture retention of the substrate. Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
