This reinforced tie with a steel wire core, allows you to securely attach a plant to its support or stake without the risk of damaging it: it is as flexible as wire but soft. This 6.5 mm diameter tie is sold in a 5 m long coil. It is easy to cut to the desired length.

The Biflex tie is ideal for attaching the stems of your delicate plants to their support without risking damage. Made of polyethylene foam reinforced with a steel wire, it is as flexible as a wire and can be twisted at will, while remaining soft and gentle. This 6.5 mm diameter green tie is sold in a 5m long coil. It is easy to cut to the desired length with a good pair of scissors, a sharp pruner or wire cutters.

Sometimes it is necessary to securely attach plants to a stake or post, to protect them from strong winds while they root, to support them because they are laden with fruit, or to train them on a support, like climbing roses for example. Unlike wire or plastic ties, this Biflex cord will not damage the tender bark of young stems that are buffeted by the wind, while allowing them to grow without being strangled. Cut a piece of Biflex foam tie, wrap it around the stem and stake, then simply twist the two strands in a spiral to loosely close the tie. You can easily undo or expand this tie. Furthermore, its green colour blends with the vegetation.
