Nothing to shoot, it's really disappointing. Not a single one. It's not a problem with the soil, as there are already woods that I had grown.

Description

The False Buttercup Anemone, also known as Anemone ranunculoides, is an herbaceous plant that spreads through rhizomes. It is a perennial plant that has both male and female reproductive organs. From March to June, it produces beautiful solitary umbels of golden yellow flowers, about 2 cm (0.8 in) in diameter, on an upright floral stem. The flowers have five or six petals and resemble buttercups. It also produces numerous villous achenes which have a long beak.

The False Buttercup Anemone has green leaves that measure 8 to 15 cm (5.9 in) long. The leaves are round-shaped, slightly petiolate, and have three distinct and divided lobes. They come directly from the base. This perennial plant is native to open woods in Europe and can be found throughout most of Europe, but is rare in the Western and Mediterranean regions.

The Yellow Anemone is very hardy that can withstand harsh conditions. It grows up to 25 cm (9.8 in) tall when mature. However, it is a poisonous plant containing anemonin, a potent toxin. The plant, also known as Yellow Wood Anemone, is pollinated by insects and can easily adapt to humus-rich soil in partially shaded areas.
