6 dead onions out of 72, it's not the end! I simply regret that an automatic reply suggests a refund, I asked for a replacement... To be continued.

Description

With this beautiful collection of 36 single, double, and lily-like tulips in shades of mauve, pink, blue, magenta, and deep purple, romance, elegance, and delicacy come together for a magical spring spectacle. They bloom from late April to early June.

The Voile de Parme collection consists of:

- 6 x Late Single Tulip Bleu Aimable: undoubtedly one of the tulips with the most beautiful shades of lavender and mauve, even more beautiful as the flower develops and matures. This old variety displays very large corollas, carried at 60 cm above ground. It faithfully blooms year after year. A beauty queen since 1916. Height approximately 60 cm.

- 10 x Single Tulip Paul Scherer: the best and darkest of the so-called "black" tulips. It displays very large corollas of a very dark velvety brown-purple, above 60 cm from the ground. It faithfully blooms year after year. Height approximately 60 cm.

- 10 x Late Double Tulip Diamant Bleu: a very double tulip, opulent, reminiscent of a peony or a rose. Its somewhat unpredictable colour is a mix of purplish pink, mauve, and lilac. It blooms at the end of the tulip season, in June, at a height of 40 cm.

- 10 x Lily-like Tulip Ballade: a greatly refreshing selection inviting you to take a walk in a sunny garden. Its intense magenta pink flowers are edged with a fine white border, creating a superb mass effect. It persists quite well from year to year. Height: 50 cm.

Individually labeled.

This collection will suit large flowerbeds, borders, rockeries, and flower beds. It can also be planted in pots or containers, embellishing balconies and terraces. It pairs perfectly with large perennials and is ideal for creating elegant cut flower bouquets. If your tulips open too quickly, you can add two to three ice cubes to the vase every day. Only add very little water at the bottom of the vase!

Planting and care

Plant your bulbs as soon as possible in a well-drained soil. Loosen the soil deeply. Plant at a depth of 10 cm (bulbs should be covered with twice their height of soil). Space the bulbs a few cm apart, making sure they do not touch. Choose a sunny location for better flowering. After flowering, cut the flower stalks and allow the leaves to completely dry before cutting them.
