Our selection of Dahlias suitable for pots to flower on the terrace or balcony. Choose from compact varieties, such as Dwarf Dahlias or semi-dwarfs. These very floriferous dahlias come in all colours and have a wide variety of flower shapes. They can be found in the following horticultural categories: Semi-dwarf Decorative Dahlias, Pompon or Ball Dahlias, cute dahlias or camellia-flowered dahlias. With compact and branched vegetation, indifferent to bad weather, they require no staking or pinching and are more resistant to strong winds or heavy rains than their large cousins, the giant dahlias! Ranging from 30 to 80 cm (12 to 32in) tall, they are miniature versions of tall varieties. Consider the 'Happy Single' Dahlia Collection, or the Dwarf Dahlia Gallery Collection, or even the 'Priceless Pink' Dahlia, a small peony-flowered dahlia variety. The unusual Dwarf Cactus Dahlia 'Blue record' has spiky flowers in shades of pink, all while not exceeding 60 cm (24in) high. The 'Purpinka' Dahlia forms a clump of 30-35 cm (12-14in) and produces numerous rich purple-red anemone flowers. The 'Senior's Dream' Dahlia is a decorative small dahlia for beautiful potted compositions. All these varieties are also perfectly suitable for borders. To prolong the flowering of your dahlias until the end of summer, make bouquets and regularly cut off faded flowers.
