Description

Perennial plants with bulbous roots, native to South Africa, always stunning, but not always very hardy. The upright foliage resembles that of irises and the flowers resemble miniature gladioli.

Differs mainly from the species with its orange flowers in bud becoming sulphur yellow and then golden yellow, and its foliage of a darker olive green. A very decorative variety.
