Description
We offer you a value collection of 4 herbs at a low price. It brings together the main herbs that we use in cooking. Each plant offers a unique flavour and has a specific use. These essential herbs can be grown in the vegetable garden or in pots on the terrace or balcony.
The collection consists of:
x 1 Provence Thyme (Thymus vulgaris): a versatile and robust herb, appreciated for its strong aroma and medicinal properties. This thyme thrives in full sun and well-drained, even arid soil. Use it fresh or dried to flavour your sauces or grilled dishes. It can be harvested all year round.
x 1 Moroccan Mint (Mentha spicata Nannah): known and prized for its intensely fragrant and refreshing leaves. It is ideal for making mint tea or adding a touch of freshness to your salads. This plant prefers a semi-shaded exposure and rich, moist soil. Be careful, mint can be invasive; it is advisable to grow it in a pot to limit its spread.
x 1 Compact Green Basil: perfect for Mediterranean cuisine. Its aromatic leaves are essential for pesto, salads, and tomato-based dishes. This basil appreciates full sun and fertile, well-watered soil. Plant it after the last spring frost.
x 1 Chives: an easy-to-grow herb, ideal for garnishing salads, omelettes, and potato-based dishes. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and in rich, slightly moist soil. Plant it in spring or autumn.
Choose a sunny or partially shaded location with well-drained soil for these aromatic herbs. The best planting period is spring, after the last frost. Maintain a spacing of 40 cm between plants. Water regularly, especially in dry weather, and prune the plants to encourage dense and vigorous growth.

The flowering period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions located in USDA zone 8 (France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, etc.)
It will vary according to where you live:
- In zones 9 to 10 (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), flowering will occur about 2 to 4 weeks earlier.
- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
- In zone 5 (Central Europe, Scandinavia), blooming will be delayed by 3 to 5 weeks.
In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
Pruning of summer-flowering shrubs (Indian Lilac, Perovskia, etc.) can be done in winter or spring.
In cold regions as well as with frost-sensitive plants, avoid pruning too early when severe frosts may still occur.
