Planting and care

Sowing:

This forage cabbage is sown in a nursery from March to May, and then transplanted into open ground 6 to 8 weeks later.

When planting, allow for a spacing of 60 cm (24in) between the plants and 50 cm (20in) between the rows.

It can also be directly sown in place in July-August, at a rate of 30 grams of seeds per 100 m2.

Cultivation:

This cabbage thrives in rich, slightly clayey soil. During the growing season, apply a complete fertilizer if necessary to promote head formation. Water regularly and keep the soil clean by regular weeding.
