The 18mm air bubbles trapped between 3 layers of plastic make good thermal insulators, meaning they do not conduct heat or cold and limit excessive temperature variations. They create a favourable microclimate around a plant by allowing daylight to pass through and warm the surrounding atmosphere, while preventing it from cooling too quickly at night, for several hours. The bubble film acts in the same way as double glazing, which insulates the windows of a house. It also acts as a windproof barrier, which always exacerbates the damage caused by cold weather to delicate plants. it is versatile and suitable for greenhouse insulation and protecting deciduous bushes on terraces or balconies, as well as garden plants. In the greenhouse, fix it to the inside walls with fasteners. To protect your plants, wrap it in a single layer around the branches, trunk, and pot if they are not grown in open ground. Secure everything with strong ties. This product is not suitable for protecting evergreen plants, whose leaves continue to "breathe" in winter: it is essential that air can be renewed around their leaves, even in winter, to prevent the development of diseases and mould due to condensation and excessive humidity. If you still want to use this bubble film around your slightly frost-sensitive evergreen bushes, remember to open this protection during the day when temperatures rise. Finally, this film is waterproof: if it completely encloses your potted plant, remember to monitor the moisture of its growing medium and water it if necessary.
